Here we are at volume 3, and nothing has happened. Did you read volume 1 & 2? Good. It's just more of the same.Natsume runs into a girl and gets out of the situation using Yae. Yae meets a terrible guy from her past; Natsume gets jealous and tells the guy to scram. Natsume and Yae become intimate but stop short of doing it for reasons…like she falls asleep or work calls, etc. We learn something about their past. Rinse. Recyle. Repeat.Annoying. This story could have ended by volume 3, and yet it continues for reasons unkown. There is no hint of a larger plot outside the standard: will Natsume and Yae's fake marriage blossom into real love and marriage? Answer: Yes. Question is: how long will it take? What's stopping them? At this point, it's just Natsume's pride and personality coupled with Yae's cluelessness. Not super interesting.I wasn't bored reading it. It moves at a fast pace, and the art and smut moments are easy on the eyes. It's a light, fun story. What brings it down is the plot. I'm frustrated by it.I'm on the fence about dropping the series. I'm not looking forward to book 4's release.
